Letter no. 53 - September Stories: What to wear, Shop and Read this month
Dear Reader,
How has September treated you so far? Personally, I’m a bit of a wreck. I can’t remember ever being this busy, but I’ve also never had this much fun working, and that’s always a slippery slope for me. Don’t get me wrong, I really, really love working with the gallery + this newsletter, but they both revolve around passions of mine, and I find it incredibly hard to stick to some semblance of work hours.
As we all know, inspiration never rests, but sourcing antiques from France in the middle of the night does not do wonders for one’s sleep. Work/life balance has never been my strength, but it comes at a high cost, and as someone who’s been through burnout before, I really should know better. This weekend’s focus will be rest and relaxation, and hopefully finishing Pachinko, which I’ve been glued to every free minute of the day. If you haven’t read it, stop by a bookstore on your way home!
Love,
Carolina
